Maven’s Media took a very small, science-based, non-profit society, and gave it a voice.
The Urban Wildlife Stewardship Society currently focuses on non-lethal, sustainable, evidence-based urban deer management. This can be a controversial topic with a variety of perspectives – people tend to love, tolerate, or hate deer. Alina and Erin developed a Communications Plan for the UWSS that involved a comprehensive study of our background, mandate and objectives, providing us with valuable information about our target audiences and providing us with multiple options on how best to reach that audience.
Maven’s Media subsequently implemented a plan that involved re-building our website, writing and providing us with topical articles, and the effective use of social media.
Alina and Erin are incredibly responsive, monitoring our social media for comments and responding when appropriate, answering our questions promptly and knowledgeably, and ensuring we have a presence in both the community that we are based in, as well as a much broader audience.
